Hi All,

Can the group users please give me some feedback
regarding the best available softwares in the market
that would enable me to analyze slopes and embankments
that will allow me to include seepage conditions/ seepage forces ?
The software should allow me include atleast a steady state seepage
condition and should enable the creation of a flownet, at the same
should be able to perform a slope stability analysis.

I currently use PCStabl/ STEDWIN and ROCSLIDE. However these two
softwares allow me to use a water table, but not a seepage condition.

I had earlier used a DOS Version of SEEPDEC 2DFe and STABGM
separately to solve my problems, but the dos versions are no
longer available for free on the net.

Can I use GEOSLOPE ? Please post your comments and your
valuable feedback.

Thanks for your help. - CHIKKAD2000

You could use the Geo-Slope Office. It is the CAD software for
geotechnical and geo-environmental modeling. It uses the
finite-element slope stability and seepage analysis. But for sure, it
is not free.

Hello!

I use the Geo-Slope and the Plaxis. The Plaxis is better. In the Geo-Slope
must be make more try-out for useful result.
