thixotropy in soils

Dear Community!
i am interested to know who invented thixotropic condition in soils.
were i referred many jornals and still i cant found it. can any one say
and help me to complete my research work.
and i want tyto know wether is there any relation with temp and
thixotropy.

Do you think the tixotrophy of bentonite slurry? This is using in piling and
diaphragm walls.
